Tynemouth Front Street - Mouth of the Tyne Festival 10.07.011

We went for a walk on Sunday in Tynemouth to find some geocaches and enjoy the weather and encountered the last day of the Mouth of the Tyne Festival. The following are photographs I took on Front Street.

The they made cute noises and the kids loved them and as you can see from the photographs they were stroking them.

Catbell Summit

This is my husband and myself on the summit of Catbells in the Lake District on 1st July 2011.

We then went on to summit Maiden Moor (although this did not seem to have any discernible summit as such) and High Spy.

We were lucky to have good weather and met some lovely people on our walk. We were 'puffed out at some stages but were so glad to did it and felt great when we reached the top each time.

We also did some lower level walk while we were visiting the lakes and waked from Ashness Bridge to Walla Crag and back.
